CLIENT: Pacific Nutritional

Assignment

Pacific Nutritional is a nutritional supplement business headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. The success of their business over the past five years was putting pressure on their current facility.  We were contacted by the chairman of the board to advise them on this project. 

Objective

Pacific Nutritional required a new location of 50,000 square feet or greater within a ten mile radius of their current location. The company was searching for a location that could accommodate their specific requirement which included office, warehouse, shipping and production areas. 

Challenges

Pacific Nutritional did not want to move far from their current location fearing the disruption it would cause to their employee base. As a fast growing privately held business, keeping the project within a tight budget was mandatory. Indentifying a location they could potentially buy was also on their wish list.

Results

Our study of the market produced three viable options. Pacific Nutritional selected the Sifton Industrial Park, located just three miles from their current location. Not only did the new location fit within Pacific Nutritional's budget, but it also offered them the right to acquire the building at the end of the 5th and 10th years of the lease term.
